We warmly invite you to join our Hounslow Tobacco Control Alliance workshop on 14 January 2025.
The government has set an ambition for England to become smokefree by 2030. Locally, we have increased our effort to tackle the use of tobacco in all forms and make the borough smokefree for all our residents. However, we still have a long way to go. The prevalence of smoking in Hounslow is 13.6%; in the more deprived areas, this rises to 18.9%. We would like your input to help us develop a three-year plan for tackling tobacco use and its inequalities in Hounslow.
The workshop will feature:
- A keynote talk by Mira Osinibi, Paediatric Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist.
- A summary of the latest smoking data in Hounslow.
- Workshops to identify priorities and model support for smokers across the system in Hounslow.
When: 2-5pm, 14 January 2025.
