North West London NHS and Hounslow Council are inviting carers who are concerned about their blood pressure to join them for a cuppa on Thursday 7 March from 10.30am - 1pm at Southville Community Centre, Southville Rd, Feltham TW14 8AP. To learn about how best to manage your own health and how to prevent cardiovascular disease.
This is also a great opportunity to discuss any of your own health queries or blood pressure concerns with our Health Outreach Team, who will also be offering free blood pressure checks, C02 and BMI checks on the day.
Key speakers on the day aim to:
• Provide carers with an increased understanding on the importance of cardiovascular health.
• Highlight health and care services that are available to carers.
• Provide advice on any barriers that may be impacting carers from accessing the full range of health and support services, and ways to overcome them.
