In November 2022 the BBP collaborated and supported the Hounslow Borough Respiratory Support Group (HBRSG) to run a health and care event.
The event marked World Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Day and aimed to raise awareness about long term health conditions.
Approximately 80 people attended. There were a wide range of stakeholders who showcased their services, including the Public Health Outreach Team, diabetes, and smoking cessation. Three presentations were given by Dr Lucy Doherty (lung health), Dr Sadia Khan (heart health), and Rachael Newlands (diabetes). Three attendees also joined the HBRSG during the event.
The presentations were recorded with an intention of being available on HBRSG YouTube account.
